Scott Benham BSc (Hons) MChiro DC ICCSP FRCC LRCC (Pain) LRCC (Sport) – Chiropractor & Clinic Owner

Meet The Team - Scott

Scott is originally from Bishop’s Stortford. He studied at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth for 4 years where he graduated with a Master of Chiropractic degree with Distinction. Scott is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and a member of both the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and the Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC). He is also a member of the specialist Pain and Sport faculty of the college and has completed the prestigious Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) Award.

Scott has had experience of running GP-based satellite clinics for the provision of chiropractic treatment under the NHS and spent much time working in private practice.

He enjoys using a multi-disciplinary approach to treat a range of conditions, in particular neck pain, low back pain and sports related injuries.

Treatment techniques are tailored to the individual and may include chiropractic manipulation or mobilisation, medical acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound, activator, soft tissue techniques and the use of kinesiotape. Prior to pursuing a career in chiropractic Scott worked as a lifeguard and swimming teacher and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Warwick.

Outside of work Scott likes to live a healthy lifestyle and regularly participates in sporting events. To date he has completed the New Forest and Bournemouth marathons, a Tough Mudder obstacle course and completed an Ironman triathlon for the charity Scope.


Heather Benham BA (Hons) – Senior Massage Specialist & Business Development Manager

Meet The Team - Heather

Heather is Takeley Chiropractic’s Senior Massage Specialist, offering a comprehensive range of treatments including Sports/Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Lymphatic Drainage. With the highest number of massage qualifications within the team, Heather brings exceptional expertise and a personalised approach to every treatment. She is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings.

A Bishop’s Stortford native with strong local connections, Heather has been part of Takeley Chiropractic since its opening, managing our social media presence and contributing to the clinic’s growth behind the scenes. In addition to her clinical work, she also serves as our Business Development Manager, helping to guide the practice’s ongoing development and community engagement.

Heather’s professional background is both diverse and distinguished — spanning banking in the City of London, management consultancy for a global accountancy firm, and SME business support across the East of England for a leading university. Alongside a full-time career, she completed her massage and reflexology qualifications and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish with the Open University.

Her passion for sports and wellbeing extends beyond the clinic. Heather has provided pre- and post-race sports massage at major events including the Virgin London Marathon, Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon and the Takeley 10k. She has also promoted the clinic through talks and presentations at local community groups such as the U3A and Takeley Ladies Circle.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys an active lifestyle centred around swimming, walking and yoga — embodying the balanced and healthy approach she encourages in others.


Nicholas Phillips MChiro DC LRCC – Chiropractor

Meet The Team - Nick

Nicholas Phillips graduated with a Masters degree in chiropractic (MChiro) from the AECC University College in Bournemouth.

Nicholas has always seen his future career helping other people with musculoskeletal injures. Being a sports enthusiast, enhanced his interest in the musculoskeletal system and biomechanics.

Nicholas believes a holistic approach when treating patients to maximise progress of helping people. Chiropractic care also resumes outside of the clinic in the form of exercises and changes to daily routine. He also strongly stresses the importance of prevention of relapses of conditions to ensure prolonged optional musculoskeletal health.


Tom Greaney MChiro – Chiropractor

Meet The Team - Tom

Tom graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic. He is committed to keeping up to date with the latest developments in the chiropractic profession, as well as gaining additional qualifications in Sports Massage and Dry Needling so he can provide the best care for his patients.

Tom favours a structured, yet personalised approach to treatment, listening intently to his patients in order to devise a treatment plan, looking to address the root cause of pain, and manage this using a variety of techniques ranging from manual therapy, soft tissue work and dry needling. Tom also likes to prescribe exercises so that his patients can take an active role in their recovery, getting them out of pain and improving function outside of treatment.

Tom undertook a specialist sports injuries placement as part of his clinical placement at university, managing patients ranging from weekend warriors to Paralympic athletes.

Before becoming a chiropractor, Tom worked for 5 years as a Personal Trainer, whilst also competing to a national level in powerlifting and Karate.


Morgan Kent MChiro – Chiropractor

Meet The Team - Morgan

Morgan graduated from the University of South Wales with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic. She is dedicated to continually growing her skills to offer patients a wide range of evidence-based treatment options tailored to their individual needs.

Alongside chiropractic treatment Morgan currently offers dry needling, sports massage, cupping, and kinesiology taping. She has a strong focus on listening to her patients and involving them in their treatment plans to ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

Morgan has a passion for providing personalised, high-quality care backed by the latest research. While at university, she gained valuable hands-on experience providing pitch-side first aid for rugby teams, managing a diverse range of injuries in real time.

Outside of work, Morgan loves keeping active through motocross and going to the gym — so she truly understands the importance of staying pain-free and performing at your best.


Linda Cole – Reception

Meet The Team - Linda

Linda first came to Takeley Chiropractic as a patient. It was during those sessions that we became aware that the timing was perfect for her to join our team. Linda is an experienced administrator and has always worked for small businesses bringing a skill set to the team that we are already benefitting from.

Linda grew up in Sawbridgeworth and still lives locally with her husband Mark. When not supporting her parents, Linda enjoys walking, gardening and reading.
